 | Snickers (Age: 5-6 yrs, Weight: 6lb, Sex: female, Breed: miniature pinscher) Beautiful little wisp of a girl - shy at first, but once she knows you, she's a real cuddler. Rescued and fostered by a B&B booster - now she's ready for her very own permanent home. Come and sit a spell with Snickers at B&B first chance you get! Beautiful rare mahogany chocolate coloring! |  | Lance (Age: 6-ish, Weight: 40lb, Sex: male, Breed: Mix**) Shelter said he was a **cocker; we don't really see that, but he could be a cocker, lab, beagle-ish sort of cockabeaglador....get his dna tested and tell us! Quiet, unassuming fella was was on the hit list at the shelter. We're thinking he was somebody's precious one and will be again soon....maybe yours? |  | Tidy (Age: 1-2 yrs, Weight: 9lb, Sex: female, Breed: mini-poodle) Sweet little white gal who looked like a tumbleweed when we first saw her. Grooming has made her feel so much better about herself! Come and hang with this cutie pie for awhile - time well spent! |  | Jackson (Age: 6 yrs, Weight: 40lb, Sex: male, Breed: beagle) Click on thumbprint to see a beautiful beagle! This is the guy who was rescued with broken leg on side of freeway in Jackson, Mississippi. His rescuer, senior female trucker adopted him - and has had some tuff times with job and home, so he has returned to B&B to find himself a place where he can tell you stories of his travels.....treated for heartworm when he arrived, so he just takes a monthly pill to keep that in check. Could lose a few pounds.... |  | Jasmine (Age: 4 yrs, Weight: 45lb, Sex: female, Breed: foxhound mix) I wouldn't automatically think "foxhound" when I see this girl. She's white and strawberry blond - ears shorter than a hound and nose more narrow. She is a nice size and as soon as she arrived at B&B afer several hours on the road, her tail was wagging, she was very easy going with several other dogs of all sizes - beagles and smaller. Not overly outgoing with folks, but upbeat and approached strangers. We'll update as we get to know her! After her people working with her for a few years - she was a confiscation give up because of abuse - they so sadly lost their home and moved in with their parents. Cramped quarters and some sudden moves from humans caused the parents to require she leave....she's come such a long ways, we don't want to give up on her or let her slide back into something less than the best for her! |  | Pretty Boy (Age: 2 yrs, Weight: 9lb, Sex: male, Breed: pom/spaniel) Tiny little blond guy who has some hind end injury so that sometimes he walks and sometimes his legs are all bent down and he sort of scoots. The more he runs and plays, though, the better he gets - and now he's sort of lurching. Very happy guy! Has trouble expressing his bladder, so helpful for him to wear a baby diaper. Such a sweetheart - he loves to cuddle and is a super kisser! Rescued from local shelter where he was scheduled to be put down...what a shame that would have been. I've been adopted! | Henry (Age: 2 yrs, Weight: 25lb, Sex: male, Breed: beagle) Beautiful two-tone red/white beagle boy who was much much loved in his home. Great with cats, house and leashtrained. We're recommending adults only cuz he's taking a while to accept the humans at B&B - some are his best friend - and some he wants to chew up and spit out....we'll keep you posted! Well, he's really taken a shine to some of our young teen volunteers! Lovingly sponsored by Gary and Diana Loucks, both serving our country in the Army and their two great beagles! This is the Loucks SIXTH sponsored pooch - and will surely be a lucky charm for Henry! GOT ADOPTED 10/18/09 by a guy named Henry!! These two Henry's visited several times before taking the plunge - we're very happy for everyone....and excited to learn who the next lucky Loucks' sponsoree is....**** |  | Trevor (Age: 1-1/2 yrs, Weight: 55lb, Sex: male, Breed: redbone coonhound) Beautiful boy - needs some direction/training. His best home would be cooonhound savvy and/or experienced with other big dogs. The better trained the humans become, the smarter the dogs are...and our behaviorist Penny Scott-Fox is available to help us keep a step ahead of our best friends! GOT HIS HOME 10/18/09! |  | Foxey-Roxey (Age: 2 yrs, Weight: 30lb, Sex: female, Breed: shiba inu x) Rescued from busy streets - she's had at least one litter (her last) and is shy at first. Wonderful Good Samaritan/rescuer was able to keep her one miraculous weekend. She's socializing and trusting folks swiftly. Very pretty gal - hope you can meet her soon - needs to put on maybe five pounds..... |  | Gospel (Age: 4 mo, Weight: 9lb, Sex: female, Breed: cocker spaniel) Pretty parti-coat - red/white - we'll repair her cherry eye and get her spayed shortly and she'll be ready for her home by August 1. Very dear - her BFF is Shindig, a 2 mo blue-eyed aussie girl. Please come meet both of them!! |
