 | Samantha (Age: 12 yrs, Weight: 17lb, Sex: female, Breed: lhasa/doxie/?) Lifelong pal of senior woman who had to go into assisted living. Thankfully she got to take her cat, but no doggies allowed. Sami is enjoying her stay with us at our "Special Senior Residence" with other special pooches and a special live in volunteer....mostly old ladies...the occasional submissive male is allowed....and they all lived happily ever after....OOPS - this is NOT Sami's pix - but enjoy looking at this pooch in the meanwhile.... |  | Cecil (Age: 5-6 yrs, Weight: 30lb, Sex: male, Breed: beagle) Classic tri-colored handsome lad - we're getting to know this fella, and so far he's Aces! Come spend some time and get acquainted soon! He's a retriever! Loves to toss his toy and then go get it! We watched him for half an hour with a donut type toy wrapped around his snout....good time! |  | Dobbs (Age: 1 yr, Weight: 15lb, Sex: male, Breed: terripoo or cockapoo) Dark dark brown coloring and a real fluffy windblown coat - we'll clip that back soon as we can. Roomie and BFF to Yazoo - and on the hit list, too - glad we could snag him, so he's safe and looking for a deserving home! |  | Piazza (Age: 6 yrs, Weight: 65lb, Sex: male, Breed: chow x) Brother of Syd - mild mannered guy - loves his walks and people. Fine with all other dogs. He's a lover, not a fighter in every respect. Housetrained - no kitties pls. |  | Nabisco (Age: l-l/2 yrs, Weight: 25lb, Sex: male, Breed: Australian cattle dog) Handsome red/white guy who is a bit shy. He is part of the Mojave/Bemis rescued pooches and will come around. We're letting the "pack energy" help heal him - it works! In the meanwhile, he would welcome a sponsor - or someone to come, sit and read aloud to him....just like in grade school when we put our heads on our desk....so soothing~~we have a specially designed "Wellness Room" with calming aromas, music and interior that makes you feel like you're in an aquarium...nice for stressed out humans, too! Lean back on comfortable big ole doggie bed, hug your pooch and read, listen to music, relax, meditate, sing, nap....Enjoy! We'll be scheduling such activities a few afternoons per week soon! She was abandoned at Orange County Animal Shelter with another senior gal. Other pooch got adopted and we were happy to snag this one quickly. Easy going - great companion for senior people! |  | Rocky II (Age: 5 yrs, Weight: 30lb, Sex: male, Breed: beagle) Very handsome and EZ going guy. Came from a family where he just didn't work out - he's been terrific with us and one of our all time favorites! Come visit soon as you can - he is good friends with Rocky I, Bubba, Campout and even some non-beagles....Sponsored by our friends at University Credit Union. |  | Smokey (Age: 6 yr, Weight: 22lb, Sex: male, Breed: blue tick beagle, x) Likes to be an only dog. You can walk him w/ a gentle leader. Housetrained and well mannered w/ his people. He'd like a calmer adult home. One of our favorites! He plays fine with our dogs in the Red Cloud Ranch playgrounds. Very handsome cream peke - came from same home as his gal pal. Both just as sweet as can be. Don't wait for their pix to get up for a visit...bathed, wormed, all vaccines - they will be available starting July 25...though you can visit them before then.... |  | Katie (Age: 3 yrs, Weight: 55lb, Sex: female, Breed: weimeriner/pit x or ?) Google "Blue Lacy" and read up on this cool breed - State dog of Texas cuz they work the cattle ranches. She may have some of this in her....Katie is slate grey (called "blue") with long weimie ears and pit body - very stunning! She is good with other dogs and children - needs a secure fence. She jumps 6' Housetrained and loves her exercise, play time and walks! Came from a family where she was much loved. We adore her - she is just lovely with small pups and all living things. Very obedient! |
